Tuesday of our vacation we slowly made our way home, relaxed, I did laundry, dishes, and tended to the garden, we napped. We spent the evening with my parents with made.by.mom pizza and fun fellowship. :) Wednesday morning we made our way to Harkers Island and caught the 11am ferry to Cape Lookout. It was a beautiful overcast day! We set up on the near secluded beach, relaxed on our blanket, I painted my toes, watched the crabs and birds, played in the water, snacked on pretzels and pineapple. We had sooo much fun together!
The ferry carried us back to the mainland around 3pm. The rainclouds came as we made our way to Wilmington. We stopped by Emerald Isle for a few minutes and snacked on grapes. It was nice to get to the hotel ~ home away from home.
P.S. Today we celebrate 90 months of togetherness!!! :)
