Our Weekend

We had the great honor of attending and partaking in the wedding of Chris & Stephanie. It was a beautiful, God-honoring event. Tony was one of the groomsmen (the best looking one, I must say!). Friday was the rehearsal dinner. It was fun seeing unexpected faces and catching up with dear friends!!! We were at the church for most of the day on Saturday. And at 3pm, the bride walked down the aisle to be joined with her groom. Pastor Todd gave an awesome exhortation that only strengthened my love for Tony!! And he announced them husband & wife. Those sweet words!

After a quick rest and snack at home, Tony & I freshened up and had a magical date night!! We had sooo much fun together. Dinner, good smelling perfume, movie, buttery popcorn, waffle house. Pure fun! We read this quote by Noel Piper, "I know some couples who think and feel so much alike that they can work together, minister together, live together, and raise children together with hardly any conflict." I'm so grateful to God that we're one of those couples.

Sunday afternoon we went over to my parents house to celebrate Joey's birthday!! We enjoyed lasagna, salad, and bread for dinner, a walk down the dirt road, a partial game of electronic monopoly, and very tasty made.by.mom strawberry cake. :)
