Enjoying the Weather

Today I was able to spend much time outdoors, while my dear husband was trapped inside doing school work. He studied for and took a test (yay for 100%) this morning, then the rest of the day (up until this moment) he worked on a paper that is due in a couple weeks. He took a break for breakfast and dinner, and of course an occasional kiss. ;) So it's been like a full day of work for him and I know he's looking forward to a day of rest. :)

Early afternoon I sat outside on a big towel accompanied with my Ipod, Bible, notebook, pen, and a delicious chocolately drink. The weather was a perfect mix of sunshine, cloudy, and even a few rain drops. I reflected/relistened to a few sermons I had heard this past week and also painted my 10 little piggies a shade of red. :) Then I was able to tend to the garden and our four little raspberry plants that were marked 75% off at Lowes. Right now, it just looks like I stuck some sticks in the ground, but I'm hoping that they'll come to be very prolific with lots of fruit! Only time will tell.

What I listened too ~ Time for the World to Get Up (Doug Wilson) and God's Labortories (JD Greer)

Here's how to make your own **delicious chocolately drink ~ in blender combine 1 can of coconut milk, 4 Tbsp of cocoa powder, 3 Tbsp honey, 1/2 cup brewed coffee (or water), and a large handful of ice. Blend well and pour into two frozen mugs. Enjoy! :)

coconut milk makes the best froth on a blended coffee drink, doesn't it?
