We heart Nylo

While in New England, Nylo was our little home away from home ... a very nice one at that!! This hotel is unlike any others we've ever stayed in. So peaceful.

Above was the scene from our oversized window -
the Pawtuxet River. We viewed several ducks, geese, and swans.

We were so excited upon our arrival Thursday night. Everything was so nice. crisp. clean. modern. cozy. Definitely picture worthy. And worth e.v.e.r.y. penny. We actually got an excellent deal through expedia.com ~ buy two nights, get one free. Which brought the total to $66 per night. We were pretty happy about that. :) After we got somewhat settled in the hotel, we made our way to a local IHOP for pancakes. Mmmm. We learned that it is not a normal thing to get hot syrup in New England. But our waitor was nice enough to heat some up for us in a coffee mug.

Friday was a rainy day spent at our lovely hotel. With curtains opened wide, Tony accomplished his school work for the week {always exciting}. I crocheted, worked on the blog, and gazed out the window. How neat would it be to have a river flowing in our backyard?!! Maybe one day. ;)

That evening we attended the rehearsal dinner. I'm so glad we were able to go!! Sweet fellowship. I also got to hold little Josiah for the first time. He's so cute and such a wiggle worm. :)

~Uncle Keith & Aunt Bonnie~

Keith has been my dads best friend since high school. So I've know 'Uncle' Keith & 'Aunt' Bonnie pretty much since birth. They have been such a blessing and encouragement to our family and I am so very grateful for the Appleton family! I praise God for the friendship He granted to Dad and Keith and that we've all been able to stay in touch throughout the years, despite the many miles between us.
