Celebrating Early

My little sister, who is the baby of the family, will be turning 19 years old on Friday! It is hard to believe! Since we all have plans for this weekend, we decided to celebrate her special day a little early. Per her request, mom made chicken fettucini with steamed broccoli, salad, and garlic sticks with marinara dipping sauce. Mom also made a Ho Ho Cake!! Always yummy!!! I thank God for the baby sister that He gave to me at the age of five. May we continue to grow closer to Christ and may our friendship be strengthened with our years on this earth.

Hi Shayna~

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I added your blog to my reading list and I look forward to reading it in the future. I enjoyed reading about your journey to coming home full-time... What a beautiful testimony of God's goodness. :)

How neat that you met my brothers while street preaching at VCU! I remember when they went with Eli last summer. They remember you and your husband also. We used to attend the same church as the Joneses, and Eli is marrying my good friend, Alli (sheworkswithherhands.typepad.com), in November. I guess you probably already knew all of that though if you've been reading my blog! :)

It's nice to "meet" you and I look forward to getting to know you better through your blog!

In Christ,
Meredith
