Saying Farewell...

...to our dear brother in Christ, Paul Perkins! He is moving all the way to California (which is a good reason to take a road trip out that way - maybe next Spring). We will certainly miss him!! He has been such an encouragment to us and we have learned so much by spending time with him. God has granted him much wisdom. We have watched this man go through many trials over the past year and a half. And we have watched how GOD has carried him through it all! HE has done miraculous, wonderful things! We feel so privelaged to have been able to witness it. God is so good and merciful and loving and precious!! HE loves His children oh so very much - words cannot describe the love of God!! I just cry tears of pure joy when I think on these things!


Lord, please be with Paul as he now packing up all his belongings and as he goes to trade his car for the family mini-van. Please grant him safety of travel with little Caleb and little Sara. I thank you so much for crossing our paths and for the friendship that you've blessed us with. I pray for the new life that is waiting for Paul in California. May all transition well to the move. May they look to you in all things!! I rejoice in all that you've done for Paul! And as Paul said last night "Even if I die on the way to California, God still did it!" You did it Lord!! Thank you so much!!!
