Sunshiny Day

I'm loving this sunshiny day!! Here I sit on the porch with the warm sun beaming down on me. A load of blankets flap in the light breeze on the clothesline.

Today I've sorted through some clutter; visited with my mom and baby Elayna; did a workout of 50 burpees, 50 squats, 50 crunches, 50 bicycles, 50 arm movements, and 50 jumping jacks. I've worked on some ShaynaMade orders and listened to lots of Christmas music. :)

Now I'm taking a time out to sip on some ice tea and read, Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin.

Sanctuary by the Sea

Last weekend we were able to attend a family retreat in Emerald Isle with one of our sister churches. We, along with one other couple, were the designated baby sitters / nursery keepers of 9 beautiful little ones. This little sanctuary was at the retreat center. :)

Very Hungry Caterpillar

A couple weeks ago a customer requested a very hungry caterpillar outfit for her little one. DanaLeigh Photography did such a great job capturing the pure cuteness!! The Very Hungry Caterpillar newborn hat and cocoon, inspired by Eric Carle's beloved children's book. "One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and -pop!- out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar." This is the perfect photo prop for your new little one. Just picture a large canvas print hanging over your baby's crib. It would also make for a treasured baby shower gift. :)

I've enjoyed a plate of star fruit and I'm knitting a super soft baby blanket for a customer in a pretty shade of pink. :)

Slouchy Trio

A loose, slouchy, super soft hat in a trio of cheerful colors, designed and hand knitted by me. I can make this hat in any color combo you'd like. Great for guys or girls.
